WHO WANTS TO RIDE THE SURFING SANTAS WAVE?
Surfing Santa Gets Barrelled At Teahupoo in June, 2016!
He might be six months early, but Santa aka Heiarii Williams has arrived to hand out some early gifts with Teahupoo about to pump.
Each year, Surfing Santas would not be possible without major support from many local residents and businesses contributing their time, money and resources into helping us make this special event possible for everyone to enjoy. A sincere “Thank You!!” to all who were involved in some form or fashion including (but not limited to) the following:
Until it all begins on December 24, 2016, 8 am EST at the end of Minutemen Causeway,
Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Surfing Santas of Cocoa Beach Florida
Surf It Off!! Surf It Off!!
In December 2009, George Trosset, his son George Jr., with his wife Britteny, paddled out for a Christmas Eve surf. Over the past 6 years, the gathering has grown to nearly 300 Surfing Santas in the ocean at the same time.
Surfing Santas has evolved into annual gathering of the local surfing “tribes”, sharing the ride of Christmas Magic. It is the one day a year that ALL the local tribes share ALL the waves at a local surf spot.
On December 24, 2015 at 8 am EST, at 2 Minuteman Causeway in Cocoa Beach, Florida, this fantastically fun event will happen again. Hundreds of Surfing Santas will gather to ride the waves and share fun in the sun for the 7th annual Surfing Santas event. This is all for a good cause. All proceeds benefit two local non-profits, the “Grind for Life” organization and the Florida Surf Museum.
